The quality of the works was very high, the artists were very happy with the organization and the participation of the public, the interest found was very high, so much so that the works just created have already been requested to embellish some exhibition events. There was no lack of visits from school groups, with the children who were able to appreciate both the artistic and agricultural aspects.
"We are very satisfied - explains Franco Boeri - because it was a wonderful experience that we will certainly repeat. We already have many ideas, but as always in these cases, we have to let our enthusiasm settle and think with a cool head. We were helped by the exceptional weather conditions , we had a turnout that we did not expect, not only on Saturdays ".
The symposium was attended by 5 artists, wood sculptors: Toni Costa (Veneto), Massimiliano Stellini (Veneto), Silvano Ferretti (Valle d'Aosta), Angelo Bettoni (Valle d'Aosta), Andrea Gaspari (Lombardy).
Everyone had an olive tree trunk about 2 meters high, a 9 m2 gazebo in the Ortai region olive grove, and 5 days (from 9 to 18) to sculpt an image, an idea, on a free theme. The works will remain on display at the Agriturismo l'Adagio in Badalucco and at our oil mill.
