PDO EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL RIVIERA LIGURE – RIVIERA DEI FIORI 2021/2022
Quality in the cultivation of olive groves, rigorous choice of olives to be milled, a renewed and constantly monitored oil mill, compliance with regulations and innovation in niche productions.
From here we started for the creation of our Crus. We wanted to savor the difference between the oil obtained from the same variety of olives that grow in the same valley but at different altitudes. This is how the Cru Gaaci was born, at 600 meters above sea level, the Cru Morgaa at 250 meters in the hills and the Riva Gianca, at 100 meters, near the sea.
The valleys of the Ligurian Riviera di Ponente, arranged in an amphitheater over the sea and very sunny, are naturally protected by the Alps and enjoy a climate tempered by the sea breeze. It is in this scenario that the Cru Riva Gianca extra virgin olive oil is born with a special selection of olives harvested in the Ricca olive grove, 100 meters away. above sea level, near the sea.
With 30% green, 50% dark and 20% black olives, this oil is characterized by the scent of fresh grass and ripe olives that is embellished with notes of white fruit. The harvested olives are selected and pressed the same day for cold extraction.
This extraordinary oil has a very low acidity and therefore a very low percentage of oleic acid, proof of the high organoleptic qualities of the product.
Perfect on meat and fish dishes with a delicate aroma or as a substitute for butter.
